Chicago Cubs manager Joe Maddon was on SportsCenter recently and spoke about various Spring Training topics.

"I love the slow dance of Spring Training," Maddon said during the interview. "You need to treat Spring Training as though your players just came down from Mars. Even though they might be accomplished players, you need to take it back to step one. In the off-season, everything goes to the back of your mind and you need to bring it back to the front."
