I disagree with both of you.

He is the best player on this team and if you can't use him in a clutch situation, like Saturday, then there is really something more going on than we know.

Slump or not, they needed a guy that could hit a homer, not a role player hitting a single. He needs to get on track quickly. I wonder if he needs his eyes checked based on some of his comments and seeing him wear glasses more this year than ever.

Getting a hit isn't really the point. Not using your best player in a key spot is troubling.

I'd agree that Bryant may be having eye trouble, but don't read into the glasses. he wears contacts, but when the wind screws with his eyes, he shifts to glasses. Maddon says it's a "normal" slump and denies injury, but it's troubling that he is choking this often, especially after spring training this year. Also of concern, are Rizzo and Schwarber, each batting sub-.200 as of now.
