E3 — Padres youngster Morejon has his debut start ended early. Pitching change made in the 3rd after Schwarber hits a single. 2 straight outs after that.

T9 — Rizzo makes a smooth catch in foul ground. He's able to make a backhanded grab of a popup w/o crashing into the partition. 2 down & men on 1B & 2B.

T9 — Edwards pitches for the Cubs for the first time since June 9. He pitched well in the minors during his injury recovery. He walks the 1st batter he faces today. Bases juiced w/ 2 outs now.

T9 — Edwards hits a batter on the foot to push a run home. Tatis then drives a 2-run single to RF. Not sure it was very smart of Maddon to insert Edwards into a 1-run game in the 9th for his 1st big-league outing in nearly a month & a half.

F — Rizzo hits a base knock up the middle w/ 2 outs & then takes 2B on fielder's indifference. Garcia strikes out to end it. Edwards' 9th-inning implosion skews the final score. Cubs lose the finale but still win the series.
