Strop and Wilson good lately

Cubs bullpen held Braves scoreless for 4.1 innings. Pedro Strop (1.0 IP, SO) has not allowed a run in nine-straight outings (9.2 IP). Justin Wilson (1.0 IP, BB) has posted a 1.80 ERA (2 ER/10.0 IP) in his last 11 outings

Good point. Lost in all the up-and-down madness of the Cubs' play these past weeks has been the improvement shown by their middle relievers, especially Strop and Wilson. Strop has reverted back to his old, consistent self after a shaky 2017, and Wilson is finally showing why the Cubs traded for him. Through the first month and a half, the Cubs' middle relief has been exponentially better this year than last. Remember how many games were lost early on last season because of Uehara, Grimm, Rondon, etc.?

I'm excited for the good version of Justin Wilson for the Cubs. It is a huge piece this season because they absolutely nothing out of him last year.

People always love to bash Stroppy but if you look at his numbers, he is always an above average reliever.
