Cubs News: David Ross to get his own World Series movie

by - Senior Editor -

The Chicago Cubs won the World Series for the first time since 1908 and soon you will be able to relive the historic game seven win on the big screen.

Former Cubs catcher David Ross is one of the most beloved former Chicago players in recent years and he will be getting a movie based on his memoir, 'Teammate: My Journey in Baseball and a World Series for the Ages.'

The book will be out May 9 by Hachette Books and Radar Pictures will be developing a film called 'Teammate: My Life in Baseball.' Radar Pictures is a legit movie company as they are currently working on a remake of "Jumanji," with Dwyane Johnson and Kevin Hart.

“It was said all during the 2016 season that if you made a movie about the magical run with all its amazing subplots, no one would believe it. Guess what? Believe it!” said Ross via the Hollywood Reporter.
