Cubs News: Addison Russell scratched from lineup

Cubs shortstop Addison Russell has been scratched from tonight's lineup with the Detriot Tigers with right shoulder inflammation.

Russell has been battling several injuries as he has had leg and hand issues recently as well. It is very possible that he is placed on the 10-day DL tomorrow to make room for newcomer Daniel Murphy.

For the season, Russell is batting .259 with five homers and 37 RBIs.
