Brewers desperate to sell to non-Cubs fans |
The Chicago Cubs fans have a reputation for supporting their team in large masses regardless of the away venue. In Milwaukee, the Cubs crowd has become so large in the last few years that some call it 'Wrigley North' as a nod to how well the Cubs travel.
The Brewers announced recently that they are having a presale of all Brewers-Cubs game on Friday to Wisconsin residents only so that the Cubs fans won't be able to represent in such high numbers in 2019. It won't work but it's worth a shot for the Brew Crew. "Any claims that this presale is an attempt to prevent Cubs fans from getting Brewers tickets are… well, pretty accurate, actually," said the Brewers Twitter account. The presale begins Friday at 9 am CT. Any claims that this presale is an attempt to prevent Cubs fans from getting Brewers tickets are… well, pretty accurate, actually.
