The Cubs will try to bounce back after a historically bad performance yesterday.
Saturday afternoon's batting lineup for the first game of a doubleheader between the Cubs (55-39) and the Cardinals (48-47) at 12:05 p.m. CDT will be the following: 1. Anthony Rizzo 1B 2. Ian Happ CF 3. Jason Heyward RF 4. Ben Zobrist 2B 5. Javier Baez SS 6. Kyle Schwarber LF 7. Victor Caratini C 8. Tommy La Stella 3B 9. Tyler Chatwood P This will be the Cubs third doubleheader of the season and the team is still three games ahead of the Brewers in the National League Central division. It will be a pitching battle between Chatwood (3-5, 5.04 ERA) and righty Luke Weaver (5-8, 4.72). Cubs slugger Anthony Rizzo is back in the leadoff spot which is the 20th time in his career while Kris Bryant is getting some rest on his shoulder with a break in game one. The Cubs game will be televised nationally on WGN-TV and MLB Network (out-of-market only).
