Cubs lineup vs. Reds, Bryant back

The Chicago Cubs (18-19) will play against the Cincinnati Reds (19-18) at 7:05 p.m. CDT on Tuesday night televised on CSN Chicago.

Veteran pitcher John Lackey will take the mound for the defending World Champions as the Cubs try to get back to their winning ways during a ten game homestand. Kris Bryant is back in the lineup after a three-game absence with a stomach illness. Cubs rookie Ian Happ will be in center field with only seven career minor league starts there at the crucial defensive position.

Cubs manager Joe Maddon currently has 999 career wins and will try for 1000 wins for his career tonight.

The Cubs are currently in fourth place (3.5 games back) in the National League Central behind the Cardinals, Brewers, and Reds.
