Chicago Cubs slugger Kyle Schwarber left Monday night's game after he fouled a ball off of his left ankle against the San Diego Padres.

Schwarber had X-rays done after the game and they came back negative. It appears that the Cubs got a break and he will be day-to-day with the injury.

In 2017, he is batting .174 with 12 homers, 28 RBI, and has a mediocre .296 on-base percentage.
