Based on his shaky first pitch, Kevin Hart might not have what it takes to become the shortest pitcher in Major League Baseball history.

WATCH: Kevin Hart acts a fool on mound before delivering first pitch

by - Senior Writer -

CHICAGO — The sight of diminutive comedian Kevin Hart on a big-league mound was rather amusing, as the superstar comic threw out the first pitch at Wrigley Field for the Chicago Cubs' matchup with the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday night.

Yukking it up with the fans and taking his sweet time getting set for the pitch, Hart made the most of his experience while donning a customized Cubs jersey with his surname on the back. After shaking off several make-believe pitch calls, Hart decided to wing it and throw it as hard as he could toward the plate.

Cubs catcher Taylor Davis caught Hart's pitch after it bounced once off the dirt, and Hart appeared to be fairly proud of himself for at least making it past the plate on his pitch. Hart also had the opportunity to hang out with the Cubs' players before the game, posing for photographs and assuredly inciting plenty of laughter.
