WATCH: Reds announcer goes into super homer mode by calling out Cubs players |
Reds announcer Thom Brennaman is a veteran announcer that learned the ropes from his father Marty Brennaman.
However, Thom can get a little biased during his Reds telecasts and went to the next level as he described the on-field confrontation on Sunday afternoon between reliever Amir Garrett and second baseman Javy Baez. At one point during the ruckus, Brennaman says that Pedro Stop is 'going off down there' between the two teams as he is just standing there keeping the peace. He is literally doing nothing but trying to calm things down according to the video. Honestly, this is just plain funny as Brenneman is trying to paint the Cubs as bad guys during the sequence of events.
