WATCH: Rizzo smacks 1st Cubs homer of 2018

Chicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo hit the first homer by a Cubs player in 2018 against the Texas Rangers on Saturday morning.

The homer was a two-run blast to left-center in the fourth inning and the Cubs ended up winning 6-1 against the Rangers.

The Cubs are 1-1 overall in Spring Training action.
