WATCH: Darvish gets strikeout on wicked curveball |
CHICAGO —
Yu Darvish
may not fare too well on the basepaths, but, when he is in the zone on the mound, he is virtually unhittable.
Striking out eight in a solid six-inning performance against the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday, Darvish consistently threw filth for most of his start. And nothing was filthier than this pitch. Striking Brewers catcher Manny Pina out looking, Darvish fooled Pina and practically everybody else at Wrigley Field on a sick 64-mile-per-hour curveball that somehow found its way to the heart of the strike zone. #Brewers @ #Cubs
