P.J. is a non-roster invitee to major league Spring Training for the second-straight season ... in five minor league seasons, he has batted .272 (458-for-1,686) with 87 doubles, seven triples, 20 homers and 187 RBI in 473 games, reaching the Triple-A level for the first time in 2019 ... Was named a Southern League mid-season All-Star with Tennessee in 2019 ... Has appeared in 272 games at catcher, while also appearing at third base (65 games), first base (53), second base (12) and shortstop (5) ... Selected by the Cubs in the 12th round of the 2015 draft ... Attended Old Dominion University where he led the team and ranked seventh in the C-USA with a .335 average in 2015 ... was a second-team All C-USA selection ... Graduated from Lyman Hall High School in Wallingford, Connecticut.
