During Wednesday's win, Iowa Cubs pitcher Adbert Alzolay left in the fourth inning with an injury alongside the team trainer. Alzolay ended giving up five runs, six hits, five walks in only 3.2 innings.

Iowa manager gave an update on Alzolay's injury speaking with the media Thursday.

"Seems to be slight biceps soreness," Pevey said according to the Des Moines Register.

This is not ideal news but not as bad as it could have been with his arm. Hopefully, Alzolay will get some rest and be back pitching soon as the 24-year old is regarded as one of the top prospects in the Cubs organization.

Alzolay has a 2-4 record with a 5.48 ERA in 10 starts at Iowa this season.
