Cubs News: Auburn WR believes his team is WRU, 'forget Clemson and Alabama'

by - Senior Editor -

Clemson has put so many receivers into the NFL the last decade that the 'WRU' moniker is clearly deserved.

Names such as DeAndre Hopkins, Mike Williams, Sammy Watkins, Adam Humphries, Jaron Brown, and Martavis Bryant are a few that come to mind.

The stockpile of receiver talent at Clemson is elite with Tee Higgins, Diondre Overton, T.J. Chase, Amari Rodgers, Cornell Powell, Derion Kendrick, Justyn Ross, Brannon Spector, Frank Ladson, and Joe Ngata. However, one team thinks they stack up with that positional talent.

Auburn redshirt freshman receiver Matt Hill spoke to the media recently and believes that his team has the best receivers in the nation.

"We're going to be the best receiving corps in the nation. Forget Clemson, forget Alabama, we're going to make some plays."

Hill has zero career catches with two rushes for 21 yards.
