The Chicago Cubs (30-23) will battle the St. Louis Cardinals (27-28) at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, MO on Friday at 7:15 p.m. CDT.

Lineup notes: Victor Caratini gets another spot start as he will catch Yu Darvish once again. Stars Kris Bryant and Javier Baez are back at their comfortable normal positions respectively. Addison Russell will bat sixth and start at second base.

Cardinals have placed Yadier Molina on the 10-day IL with a right thumb tendon strain and he will miss the rivalry series with the Cubs. The Cards are 7-18 since May 2.
