Cubs to play three straight weeks in May on ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball

ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball presented by Taco Bell will feature the Chicago Cubs three weeks in a row in May. The first edition will be this Sunday, May 5, in a visit to Wrigley Field as Javier Baez and the Chicago Cubs renew their rivalry with Paul Goldschmidt and the NL Central-leading St. Louis Cardinals at 7 p.m. on ESPN.

The next two weeks will feature the Cubs hosting Christian Yelich and the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday, May 12, and visiting the Washington Nationals on Sunday, May 19.

The Sunday Night Baseball team of Matt Vasgersian, analysts Alex Rodriguez, Jessica Mendoza and reporter Buster Olney will have the call on ESPN. Jon Sciambi and Chris Singleton will call the game on ESPN Radio. Sunday Night Baseball is a full national broadcast. The game will also be available on ESPN Deportes, ESPN Deportes Radio and the ESPN App.

Sunday, Cinco de Mayo, ESPN airs its second game this season from Estadio De Beisbol Monterrey at 4 p.m. as Jose Altuve and the Houston Astros “visit” Mike Trout and the Los Angeles Angels. Adam Amin and Rick Sutcliffe will call the full-national broadcast.

The Monday, May 6 edition of Monday Night Baseball presented by USAA features the Cardinals hosting Bryce Harper and the Philadelphia Phillies at 8 p.m. on ESPN. Karl Ravech, Eduardo Perez and Tim Kurkjian will have the call. This game is also a full national broadcast.

Wednesday, May 8, Gary Sanchez and the New York Yankees host Dee Gordon and the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday Night Baseball presented by Hankook Tire at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN. Jon Sciambi and David Ross will call the game. This game is subject to blackouts in the New York and Seattle markets.

This Friday night’s ESPN+ game of the day is game one of the Cardinals-Cubs series.
