“I’m better than what I’ve been this whole year. Way better.

“I’m a great baseball player. I’m just in a rough patch right now. It’s like a storm.”

“Everyone wants to put their input in now,” Edwards said in a calm, direct tone. “If we were winning, you’d hear nothing.”

“At the end of the day, if I throw strikes and get outs, it doesn’t matter if I throw the ball behind my head,” Edwards said. “Or behind my back. If I get an out or a strikeout, I get the job done.”
