Cubs News: MUST-SEE: Rizzo pulverizes 437-foot 3-run blast that hits Budweiser sign

Anthony Rizzo has hit plenty of impressive home runs in his career, but the game-tying 3-run blast that he drilled against the Philadelphia Phillies at Wrigley Field on Wednesday is certainly one of the most impressive. Traveling 437 feet, Rizzo's 12th bomb of the season was meteoric, as it seemed to hover in the air for quite some time before clanging off the Budweiser sign at the top of the scoreboard beyond right field.
Rizzo hesitated at the plate and marveled his handiwork before beginning his trot around the bases. The 3-run dinger made the score 3-3 in the bottom of the third, and it left the yard sporting a launch angle of 29 degrees and an exit velocity of 110 miles per hour. Phillies starter Cole Irvin made the mistake of lofting an 87-mile-per-hour fastball over the plate that Rizzo sent flying through the night sky.
