Roster Moves: Cubs activating Ian Happ, returning Moises Ballesteros to minors

Chicago gold glove left fielder Ian Happ will be activated off the injured list on Tuesday, according to Cubs President of Operations Jed Hoyer during a radio segment on 670 The Score.

Happ was on the injured list with a left oblique strain that landed him there on May 9.

He is hitting .269 with three homers and 19 RBIs in 39 games this season.

Cubs top hitting prospect Moises Ballesteros is expected to be demoted back to the I-Cubs to make room for Happ on the roster.

During his short time on the big league club, Ballesteroes hit .188 with three runs and three RBIs in five games.
