Cubs outfielder Albert Almora Jr. looks ready to start the 2019 regular season.
Almora led off Friday afternoon's contest by crushing a solo homer to left field on the second pitch off of righty Lucas Giolito to put the Cubs up early 1-0 in the first inning against the rival White Sox.
It was the second homer of the spring for Almora.
Look for big things for Almora this year as he matures into a more substantial role with the team.
