WATCH: Almora leaps into ivy in order to make great catch

CHICAGO — Saving an extra-base hit in the second inning of the National League Wild Card Game, Chicago Cubs center fielder Albert Almora Jr. made a spectacular catch at the wall.

With the Cubs trailing the Rockies 1-0 in the top of the second, Almora leaped up at the wall and made the catch while pressed against the ivy covering the center-field wall.

Fired up over the stellar catch, Almora incited the Wrigley Field crowd with his exuberant reaction after robbing Rockies right fielder David Dahl of extra bases.
