MILWAUKEE — Hitting a moonshot that was more like a punt than a home run, Chicago Cubs first baseman
Anthony Rizzo put his club up 2-0 over the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday. The towering third-inning blast at Miller Park featured an impressive launch angle of 43 degrees.
Rizzo plated Cubs catcher Willson Contreras, who was hit by a pitch earlier in the frame, by way of the 348-foot shot to right. The round-tripper off Brewers starter Chase Anderson left the bat at 100 miles per hour and boasted plenty of hang time.
