WATCH: Bryant hits mammoth home run out onto Waveland Avenue

by - Senior Writer -

With his team facing a 2-run deficit in the bottom of the ninth on Monday, Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant cut the opposing Miami Marlins' lead in half with a solo bomb that sailed out of Wrigley Field and onto Waveland Avenue beyond left field. The 403-foot rainmaker flew off the bat at a speed of 111 miles per hour and at an angle of 32 degrees.

The fifth home run of the season for Bryant made the score 6-5 in the ninth. A 4-seam fastball thrown by Marlins reliever Sergio Romo resulted in the yard work by Bryant, who tabbed his 20th RBI of the season with the monstrous moonshot.
