Chicago Cubs utility infielder Christopher Morel is getting some work in at third base this spring.
Early returns have been good, as he made a defensive gem at third base in the third inning against the San Diego Padres on Sunday afternoon. This is excellent news for Cubs fans, as Morel playing well defensively means that bat can be in the lineup a ton in 2024.
