Chicago Cubs didn't need an injury like this.
Cubs catcher Willson Contreras was injured doing a home plate collision with Ozzie Albies. The Braves did a suicide squeeze and Contreras left hand got jammed on the tag play.
Contreras limped around for a few minutes checking his hands as the trainers ran out to check on him.
Update: Contreras stays in the game after the trainers looked at him and he took a few warmup pitches from Darvish.
