CHICAGO — In conjunction with ATI Physical Therapy, the official physical therapy provider of the Chicago Cubs, the Cubs put together a video detailing the Cubs players' pregame routines. The clip, which was posted on the Cubs' Twitter page, features player interviews and highlights from exercising highlights.

Cubs power hitter Kyle Schwarber revealed that getting his hips loose through a variety of stretches and conditioning drills is the most important part of his pregame routine. Fellow sluggers Willson Contreras and Anthony Rizzo discussed the importance of maintaining continuity in their daily routines so as to better take care of their bodies, and outfielder Albert Almora Jr. talked about the significance of him having valuable time in the batting cage prior to games.

All of the pitchers included in the montage touched on the necessity of carrying out regimented routines, particularly on the days of starts for starting pitchers, and ensuring that their bodies are warm and relaxed before taking the mound.
