SAN DIEGO — Chicago Cubs center fielder Jason Heyward crushed a game-tying solo shot against the San Diego Padres on Tuesday that served as his second long ball of the contest. Taking Padres reliever Andres Munoz deep in the top of the eighth, Heyward tied the game up at 8-8.

Smoking a fastball 417 feet out beyond center field at Petco Park, Heyward went yard not long after Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant hit a 2-run bomb. Heyward's 21st long ball of 2019, the round-tripper was scorched off the bat at 104 miles per hour.
