Javier Baez came through with a go-ahead home run of his own in the bottom of the fifth on Friday. Crushing a 401-footer to the opposite-field, Baez put the Cubs up 5-4 over the San Diego Padres at Wrigley Field.
The dinger to right field left the bat at 107 miles per hour, and it boasted a steep launch angle of 38 degrees. Baez's 23rd long ball of the season, the solo shot came on a curveball thrown by Padres starter Eric Lauer.
