WATCH: KBOOM!!! Bryant blasts walk-off 3-run bomb

by - Senior Writer -

In a pressure-packed situation, Chicago Cubs superstar Kris Bryant came through in the clutch on Tuesday with a walk-off 3-run home run against the Miami Marlins. Facing a 1-2 count with runners on the corners and two outs, Bryant, who needed a hit of some sort to break the 2-2 tie and end the game, came through with much more than just a hit.

Bryant smacked a fastball thrown over the heart of the plate by Marlins reliever Adam Conley and sent it flying 404 feet into the center-field bleachers to walk it off and provide the Cubs with a 5-2 win. Interestingly enough, Bryant hit a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth on Monday against the Marlins, but it merely cut the Cubs' deficit down to one run. Bryant topped that dinger by tabbing his third career walk-off bomb the next night. He now has six home runs and 23 RBI on the season.
