WATCH: Kris Bryant, Nicholas Castellanos bond over animated Disney movie

Nicholas Castellanos is fairly new to the Cubs organization, so he decided to bond with Kris Bryant via customized shirts.

CHICAGO — Star Chicago Cubs players Kris Bryant and Nicholas Castellanos recently posed for a picture together while wearing customized shirts with characters from the animated Disney film Moana on them. Bryant was then asked about it by the press during a locker-room media session.

Apparently, Moana is a movie that Bryant, who is a Disney lover, is a huge fan of, so Castellanos bought the shirts as a way to bond with Bryant. Castellanos has a young son, so he has probably watched Moana several times himself. Regardless, the thoughtful gift was assuredly appreciated by Bryant.
