PHILADELPHIA — Becoming the fastest Chicago Cubs slugger to reach 100 career home runs at 453 games, Cubs left fielder Kyle Schwarber reached the century mark for homers with a 417-footer on Thursday. The solo dinger increased the Cubs' lead over the Philadelphia Phillies to 5-0.

Hammering a no-doubter out to straightaway center field at Citizens Bank Park, Schwarber collected his 28th dinger of the season. The towering bomb left the bat at 108 miles per hour and sported a launch angle of 27 degrees.
