WATCH: Kyle Schwarber hits second Schwarbomb of game with lined 3-run shot |
MILWAUKEE — With a home run that was far different than the towering grand slam that he hit in the second inning, Chicago Cubs left fielder
Kyle Schwarber lined a 3-run shot over the wall in left-center in the top of the fourth. The blast at Miller Park put the Cubs up 7-0 over the Milwaukee Brewers.
Going yard off Brewers starter Zach Davies for the second time on Sunday, Schwarber smoked a fastball 390 feet to the opposite field for his 24th long ball of the year. The 3-run round-tripper sported an exit velocity of 101 miles per hour, and it increased Schwarber's 2019 RBI total to 54. That’s two home runs and SEVEN RBI today for @kschwarb12!#EverybodyIn pic.twitter.com/7GcvG82yF2
