WATCH: Nicholas Castellanos gives Cubs early lead with 2-run bomb |
CHICAGO — Chicago Cubs right fielder Nicholas Castellanos smacked a first-inning home run on Friday. Putting the Cubs up 2-0 on the Milwaukee Brewers, Castellanos smoked a 2-run blast out to left-center for his 10th long ball as a Cub.
Taking Brewers starter Chase Anderson deep on a changeup, Castellanos pummeled a 389-footer that left the bat at 99 miles per hour and 34 degrees. The jack scored Cubs center fielder Ian Happ, who led off the bottom of the first at Wrigley Field with a double.
