WATCH: Nicholas Castellanos smokes 3-run dinger out to right-center |
CHICAGO — With his 12th home run as a member of the Chicago Cubs, right fielder Nicholas Castellanos sent a 3-run shot to the opposite field on Tuesday. The dinger off Seattle Mariners reliever Wade LeBlanc put the Cubs up 5-0 over the Mariners in the fifth inning at Wrigley Field.
With his first hit in a Cubs uniform since early May, utility man Ben Zobrist led off the bottom of the fifth with a bunt single, and left fielder Kyle Schwarber followed that up with a base knock. Castellanos then drove three runs across with a 393-foot jack out to right-center. Stand tall, kick high, swing hard. #ThePhilosopher pic.twitter.com/EkDmnSPENI Have you ever heard of Plato?
