WATCH: Quintana saves himself with no-look catch of hard-hit liner

by - Senior Writer -

Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Jose Quintana showed out on the mound with his stellar pitching against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday, but his stellar catching was on full display in one epic highlight, as well. For the final out of the top of the fourth, Quintana showed off his impressive reflexes by gloving a hard-hit liner that flew off the bat of Cody Bellinger and headed right for Quintana's upper body.

Quintana was able to duck out of the way while moving his glove in the perfect position to secure the no-look catch. In typical Quintana fashion, though, the solid starter was stone-faced while walking off the field after making perhaps the top defensive play of his career.
