Cubs News: Zobrist scratched from Tuesday's lineup

Chicago Cubs announced on Tuesday evening that outfielder Ben Zobrist will be out of the starting lineup because of travel issues.

Zobrist will be replaced in the lineup by rookie Ian Happ.

Maddon said the situation involving a rental car reminded him of a Seinfield episode when Zobrist's car was not ready.

"They know how to take the reservation," Maddon said to reporters.

In 2017, Zobrist is batting .226 with 8 homers, 33 RBI, and .315 on-base percentage.
