But how do you understand that? You're currently assuming it's impossible without knowing the reward system works. And"It is a new take on Old School and a different way to perform, whilst playing less you'll receive less points, each point you get makes a difference in terms of the rewards you'll be able to get on your principal account"; it seems that it isn't only the players that gets points while the rest do nothing and waste their time. So from its noise, Ironmen should be able without it being hopeless, to work towards the benefits.

You are being somewhat contradicting. It is not"really impossible" for ironmen to get if everybody has the same chance. If that is the way it works an Ironman could grind the league exactly and be the first to complete jobs that are enough to buy a cosmetic. So how is that"really impossible" and not"almost impossible"? If a single ironman can obtain it, then it is not actually impossible and you contradict your own argument against itit would just be like grinding complete third era.

You refute that by claiming"I can get 3rd age any moment from a random clue between now and the death of OSRS. But I'll never be able to acquire a decorative from this shop if I do not take part in a specific tournament." Of course should you clues you've got a chance of era, but you can not compare doing something. If you do not take part in the tournament, it is like if you didn't do clues; you're choosing not to perform. But a choice to not do something does not mean it is"actually impossible".

Anyway, your argument is based on premise and ones based on which Kieren has said. You need to play the league to earn the benefits. However, there isn't anything to say that it will not be possible for Ironmen to make points to buy the rewards. There's nothing to say that the rewards are"one-time uniques" either; in actuality, I doubt they would be since that would be introducing"rares" back into OSRS, which has previously been shot down. And once we get the full blog with the benefits and reward system explained, if you don't like it, you can always vote no. But arguing on the premise you think that might not be able to get them against makeup rewards is absurd.
