What should the captain's duties be? Back in the old days it was part of the captain's job to bail any players that got put in jail out of jail!!! Also, to get them to go home from the bars after the games so that they would be ready for the game the next day. I'm sure our guys are all standup guys and these duties wouldn't be required, but he should carry the lineup card to homeplate every day and explain the ground rules.
