Cubs News: Baez on Schwarber's transformation: "Crazy man"

Chicago Cubs second baseman Javier 'El Mago' Baez was interviewed by ESPN recently and talked about new excitement for his team this spring training.

"A lot of energy," Baez said. "Everybody is ready for it (season). Everybody is wanting to play. We will see when the season starts."

Baez was also impressed with the new physique of outfielder Kyle Schwarber.

"Crazy man," he said. The training he did this offseason was not easy and obviously was a lot of work and a lot of people here respect him for that."
