Watch Jon Lester react to being named opening day starter for the Cubs for the third time in four seasons.

"Pretty cool. Obviously, any time the manager, the team picks you to do that, it's a huge honor," Lester told the media after his Tuesday start. "I'm excited. It's probably the earliest I've ever been told."

Lester thinks that the team is better prepared than last season to start the season.

"Last year was try to be ready for more or less May than April."
