Anthony Rizzo spoke with the media during pregame of Friday's game against the White Sox and spoke about the on-going domestic allegations involving teammate
Addison Russell.
"I guess the investigation is still on-going which seems crazy because it has been over a year now, right? Somebody is not doing their investigative work very good I don't think," Rizzo said. "It's tough. Obviously, this is something unfortunate and its still going on and whatever is happening. It's tough." Russell is currently under administrative leave after allegations surfaced about domestic abuse with his ex-wife Melisa. The domestic policy is a leave for up to seven days but MLB can take up to seven additional days with their investigation.
