Chicago Cubs (78-54) @ Atlanta Braves (74-58)

Mike Montgomery (4-4, 3.62) vs. Mike Foltynewicz (10-8, 2.67)

Makeup game from rainout earlier in season. The reason why the Cubs have to play 23 days in a row. Montgomery coming off DL to make start on mound for Cubs.

T2 — Folty struggling in 2nd. Gives up leadoff double to RF. He then hits Heyward with pitch. After a controversial balk, Cubs score 1st run on Contreras groundout. Heyward then motors home on Schwarber groundout after that.
