Jon Lester (1-1, 2.37) vs. Marco Gonzales (5-0, 2.80)

Second of two games in this series. Cubs going for sweep. Lester pitching in his home state of Washington.

E1 — Lester put into an early hole on a Bote throwing error in the first AB of B1. Runner on 2B with 0 outs, but Lester stays composed & records 3 straight outs after that.

T2 — Gonzales really struggling on the mound for the M's. RBI single from Heyward followed by walk of Zobrist that forces a run home. Bryant walked a few ABs later to bring another run in. Heyward then able to tag up & score on sac. fly by Rizzo. Cubs dominating.
