I'm not fully buying this because what most of us will never know is what content Sinclair might block. A lifelong fan, I happened to live in Seattle for 8 years in the 90's and was honored to serve on the steering committee to get Safeco Field built. With Democrats and Republicans in the same room, we'd marvel how sports is a great unifier that can have people from both parties pulling together. I'll bet Comcast and several other qualified broadcasters made plays for this channel.
Here's the other issue: What if Comcast, DirecTV and others decide not to carry Marquee? Hopefully the greedy, deplorable situation in LA wont be repeated where half of that city's Dodger fans can't watch the team.
