Chicago has shut out Milwaukee five times already this season, all coming in April… marks the third time in MLB history that a team has blanked a single opponent five times in a calendar month … the previous team to do so was the Washington Senators against the Cleveland Naps in August of 1910. Chicago’s five shutouts this season are tied for the most in the majors … the Cubs did not record their fifth shutout last season until September 1 vs. Atlanta.
