I think we have to ask how long Bryant played with that shoulder issue before coming out of the lineup. Even 3 games would change the premise here dramatically.
Further, our hitters have been getting well against bullpen pitching, something Bryant hasn't had the chance to do yet.
We are definitely better with a healthy Bryant in the lineup. It's just a credit to his subs that we've done as well as we have.
