Fly the W, Bryzzo's bats, Cubs' milestones, Defending Darvish, more

By the end of the first, the Cubs’ offense had already overcome any threat the Fish would impose, courtesy of Kris Bryant’s two-run blast. The Cubs other two runs for the day resulted from Anthony Rizzo’s homer in the fifth. Full Story »

I don't even know where to start.

Darvish doesn't need anybody giving him time to figure it out. He either does or he's done.

The only one who was unsure if Bryant was going to return to form was you. Everybody else on planet earth knew he would eventually be fine.

Typical Cubs fan with regard to Bote. He has a mini slump and suddenly he should be drawn and quartered. Next week when he has gone 10-14 with two homers and drives in 7 with three sparkling defensive plays everybody will be putting his plaque back up in the HOF. Cubs fans are exhausting.

Yes, I had doubts about Bryant, but I wasn't the only one. Last Sunday night, the ESPN crew was also questioning his loss of power- an inning or 2 later, he smashed the slam.

Awesome, you and the crew that were right on target with their cancer in the clubhouse comments last year agreed that Bryant was done as a professional baseball player. I stand corrected. You and the Sunday night baseball crew thought he was done, everyone else on planet earth knew he would be fine.

You did not. A-Rod did.

Be nice to a Mother today.
